MadCap Analyzer™ - Report, Analyze, Suggest and Fix
MadCap Analyzer will improve your project efficiency and consistency, as well as add speed to your authoring.
Unlike any other application currently available, MadCap Analyzer not only allows you to design and generate reports for information such as broken and missing links, but it also provides suggestions for your Flare and Blaze projects. And then, with a few mouse clicks, you can fix the problems in Madcap Analyzer, saving you potentially hundreds of hours of manual work.
Analyzer will help you get your project under control by remembering what you've done and predict what you're going to do, scan your projects, and make suggestions for items such as variables, snippets, styles, and more.

MadCap Analyzer identifies all the places in your project where you use the same phrase or segment. For example,
if you frequently use the words "On the File menu", this phrase and all the places and topics where you use this
phrase are identified. You decide this would be a good candidate for a snippet and, right within MadCap Analyzer,
create a snippet for your project with two simple mouse clicks.
With any other tool, you have to search out all the places where you want to replace that text with the new snippet.
Not with MadCap Analyzer. In MadCap Analyzer, you go to the Snippet Suggestions area and, with 3 mouse clicks, all
instances in your project of that text are replaced with the new snippet.
You're done!

MadCap Analyzer identifies all the places in your project where a style could be used but isn't. For example, you
imported multiple html files into your project and they are using new formatting that you want to add to a style
sheet in your project. MadCap Analyzer shows you the topics and style settings. You select the tag you want to
convert to a new style, and, in two mouse clicks, you create a new style with those settings.
With any other tool, you would have to go find all the places with similar formatting to the new style and manually
apply the style. Not with MadCap Analyzer. In MadCap Analyzer, you go to the Replace Local Style suggestions and,
with two mouse clicks, all text with matching formatting are updated.
You're done!

MadCap Analyzer examines and shows your index keywords for an entire project in one place. For example, you
have multiple authors working on a project, each indexing as they work. MadCap Analyzer examines the index
keywords, showing you what keywords are used and where. Select the index keywords you want to edit. With
two mouse clicks, you change the index keywords and apply those changes to their topics.

MadCap Analyzer examines and shows your concept keywords in your project. For example, marketing just changed the name of a
main feature, forcing you to rename the concept keywords in your project associated with that feature. MadCap Analyzer examines
the concept keywords, showing you what keywords are used and where. Select the concept keywords you want to edit. With two
mouse clicks, you change the concept keywords and apply those changes to their topics.

MadCap Analyzer examines and shows any topics that are not yet converted to XML in your project. For
example, you received several html topics from your developers and added them to your project all
at once. MadCap Analyzer shows you which topics are not yet converted and where they are. Select the topic
you want to convert. With three mouse clicks, you preview the original against the converted file and then
convert that topic to XML. You can also select several or all files to convert, if that's what you want to do.
