For example, Mimic, Capture and Echo can be launched from within the Flare interface, and Flare authors can quickly insert Mimic movies, Capture screen shots and Echo audio from topics, tables of contents, and browse sequences.

Variables (containers that hold re-usable text) offer another example of Mimic and Captures useful integration with Flare. Not only can you insert variables directly into Mimic movie content and screen shots, but you can also create a link directly to a Flare project. This allows you to insert variables from that Flare project into the Mimic movie and you can do the same in MadCap Capture. If the definition for the linked variable is changed in Flare, it changes everywhere simultaneouslyin Flare content, in Mimic movies, and in Capture images.
