ToolProof can detect clipped strings in static text boxes, push buttons, checkboxes, radio buttons, combo boxes and listboxes. In the screenshot above, you can see ToolProof detecting a truncated string in a static text box, a string overrun in a group box, a clipped radio button and checkbox, and finally, a truncated button. Hitletter Problems ToolProof implements full hitletter checking. This includes detection of duplicate hitletters within dialogs and menus; missing hitletters from static text boxes before active controls (edit boxes, listboxes, combo-boxes) in the dialog's tab order; interface hitletters which are not contained within ToolProofs definable list of valid hitletters.
In the screenshot above, ToolProof detects: duplicate hitletters on two static text boxes; clashing hitletters on the checkbox and the dialog's pushbutton; a checkbox with a missing hitletter. Overlapping Controls Finally, ToolProof can detect when controls in your application's user interface overlap each other.
