Monthly Savings is calculated based on the savings the Spotinst platform generates in a specific month
Our platform is continuously tracking the actual cost in the connected cloud account and compares it to the alternative cost of running the same workload on an “On-Demand” node (without Spotinst). These metrics are presented on our platform and the difference is the Savings that a customer gains from using the platform. To summarise, monthly savings is the difference between the On-Demand cost to the actual infrastructure cost obtained with our platform (a fraction of the On-Demand cost).
