SocketTools 7.2 は、32ビットおよび 64ビット プラットフォームの両方をサポートし、IPv4 と IPv6 プロトコルもサポートします。すべてのエディションでSSL/TLS と SSH を使用するセキュアな接続をサポートします。。製品エディションも開発者が製品を選択しやすいように v7.1 から簡単にまとめられました。新しくリリースされた 7.2 には 3つのエディションがあります:

  • SocketTools .NET エディション
    Visual Studio を使用する開発者向け。
    SocketTools .NET エディションは、x86 および x64 プラットフォームの両方をサポートし、Visual Studio .NET 2003 およびそれ以降の Visual Studio のすべてのバージョンと互換性のあるマネージド コンポーネントを含みます。このエディションは、標準の SSL、TLS、SSH プロトコルを使用するセキュアで、暗号化された接続もサポートします。

  • SocketTools ActiveX エディション
    Visual Basic 6.0 またはActiveX コントロールをサポートする他の言語を使用する開発者向け。
    SocketTools ActiveX エディション (別名、SocketTools Visual エディション)は、ActiveX コントロールと軽量の COM スクリプト オブジェクトの両方を含み、以前の ActiveX エディション (Visual エディション) と Scripting エディションを 1つのパッケージにまとめました。このエディションは、64ビットコンポーネントを含みます、また、セキュア接続もサポートします。

  • SocketTools Library エディション
    C/C++ を使用する開発者またはハイレベル コンポーネントよりも API を利用したい開発者向け。
    SocketTools Library エディションは、32ビットと 64ビット Windows ダイナミック リンク ライブラリ (DLL) の両方を含み、ほとんどすべてのプログラミング言語で利用できます。Library エディションは、SSL、TLS、SSH プロトコルを使用するセキュアな接続をサポートします。

SocketTools の以前のバージョンを所有しているお客様は、Standard または Secure エディションに関係なく最新版にアップグレードすることができます。Visual エディションまたは Scripting エディションのどちらかを所有されているお客様は、新しい ActiveX エディションにアップグレードできます。さらに以前の異なるエディションから切り替えたいお客様は、製品を選択することができます。たとえば、旧 Visual エディションを所有しているお客様は、最新の SocketTools .NET エディション 7.2 に「移行価格」で切り替えることができます。

v7.0 および v7.1 のユーザーは、最新の評価版をダウンロードし、v7.x のシリアル番号を入力することで最新版の v7.2 に無償アップデートできます。
